Not worth it December 28, 2014
"I was very disappointed with this product. It was not round like the picture but oval with a snowman on the back. It comes with a plaster mix and instructions to add water. I followed the instructions exactly and the plaster never set. I ended up throwing the whole thing in the trash. Definitely a waste of money."

don't bother December 27, 2014
"I bought 2 of these. the instructions say to do exactly as stated. well, the mixture is very watery and impossible to get an impression. luckily we had the other one so we just added some more powder. but even after that the impression was not great. took a long time to dry, too. I did hang it on the tree(very heavy and awkward looking). mostly it was only good for the laughs we had trying to get it to work. don't waste your time or money. only positive is that the company was very responsive when I complained."

very easy & fun December 06, 2014
"I bought these to get handprints of my 3yo & 9mo old. They were fairly easy to get good prints even with my wiggly 9mo old lol. I would recommend changing the directions a bit. The 1st one i did, I followed directions exactly & it was too soupy & took a little waiting to harden some (used some paper towel to soak up excess water), dulled the color & still has a "not completely dry" feel to it even 24hrs later. I did have help from my 3yo pouring in the powdered mix. On the 2nd I decided to just use 1/2 the water at 1st. Then added the powder until it got too thick then added more water. Continuing that until it was of "toothpaste" consistency as in the directions & it did great & is a beautiful off white. Also the printing automatically has "1st Christmas" printed, it just changes the yr & name."

Served it's purpose March 12, 2014
"Overall this product is good. It was difficult to get a handprint because of a very active 7 month old, not the product. I was able to try a few times before it dried so that was good. Only complaint was the ribbon was only printed on each end. It was difficult to tie so the words could be seen."

Not Impressed December 29, 2013
"I've ordered this product several times and was happy with it in the past. However, they made some changes to it that I don't like. First, the ribbon only has the name and year printed on it twice, and it's near the top. There is no easy way to hang it and/or tie the bow that displays the name nicely. Previously, the name and year were on the full length of the ribbon, more similar to the photo. Also, they changed the mold and plaster. It used to be bright white, now it's gray and dull. Finally, the old plaster took the imprint better. I was not happy with this. I had bought two, and I can't return them because it's a "personalized" item on the ribbon. WASTE OF MONEY."

didn't work December 19, 2013
"first the mold was too "soupy" ... then once it hardened enough to get a handprint it wouldn't make the print in the mold... even tried a foot thinking that was easier to get...ended up throwing it away"

sad December 19, 2013
"I wasn't happy with this product. I wanted it for my sons first xmas, but sadly the mixture never set enough to get a print. I followed the directions and it didn't work. It did come with a very pretty ribbon with my sons name and the year...but my cat got a hold of it and ate it. dang cat. It was a sad day indeed. No handprint ornament for us!"

Great, great product November 17, 2013
"Our son was born in 2008 and we got this ornament as something we could look back on for his first Christmas. We had no problems with the mixture, pouring, or setting... the directions were easy as was the setup. We did an OK job with the handprint... it was a bit tricky, but it came out pretty good. We definitely enjoyed having the ornament on our tree that first year. When the second Christmas with our son came, we unpacked all the Christmas stuff and my wife found the handprint ornament. She immediately broke into tears. It was so precious to see that little baby handprint and it has been the best ornament on our tree ever since. Honestly, I enjoy it more every year. This year we welcomed our second baby and I'm ordering another one. I can't wait to see those two handprints side-by-side on our tree this year. Whether you order this ornament or just do-it-yourself with salt dough or plaster of Paris, make a baby handprint ornament for baby's first Christmas. It will become more and more precious to you each year!"
