"This turned out to be the best gift I gave out this year...definately not the most expensive but it got the best reaction. I have a sweet little lady friend from Germany, all her family are in Germany, when my mother died she decided to step in as my mom. She never had children and I knew she was somewhat lonely so we unoffically adopted each other. She had been telling me she needed a jewelry box she could lock, and I found this one...with the personalization on it I thought this would be great. When she opened the package she first saw the lock and was soooo tickled...she pulled it out of the box and opened it right away. without even seeing the top. She ooed and ahed over how nice the inside was for 5 minutes. Finally I had to say look at the top...when she closed the lid...her eyes got big and full of water then she began to bawl. She said it was the best gift she ever got. I was so touched she had me crying too. I think it was one of the best gifts I ever gave too! It was very well made, it had quality construction, and was quite beautiful. Overall Fabulous!"

"I am happy with my box, it works well and looks nice. I was kind of under the impression that both lines of the box were customizable, when you go to check out you fill out what you want on the top line and the bottom line of the box to read, at least thats what I thought. The quote "To the world you are just one person; but to me, you are the world" will always be on the top portion of the box above the name, maybe I am the only one who was confused about this but I feel like it should tell you that your not filling out the top and bottom lines on the box just the one. If I had known I may have written something different. I'm not unhappy with it , the box still looks nice and will make a nice gift. I also feel it's important to know the box appears more red than in the photos, again not a complaint just something I feel everyone should know before buying."

"The premise was good. My dad liked it because he was getting it from his granddaughter. HOWEVER, I was upset that the laser etching was not centered well and made this precious gift seem cheap. We were exchanging gifts before Christmas and I was in a time crunch. If that were not the case I would have complained and requested a refund."

"I am skeptical to buy online, but after reading the great reviews, I thought it would be fine. I just got the gift in the mail today, and I have to say, I'm a little unsatisfied. The lid on the box isn't level because the hinges to the lid aren't level. Due to that, the box will not lock, even if you press down on the lid. I bought this for my dad for Christmas, and I will be a little embarrassed giving him a gift that doesn't even work. Looks great, just doesn't work."
