A slight disappointment February 21, 2013
"The pen/pencil set is beautifully crafted; works smoothly; personalization as requested and nicely done. My only concern is the noise of the pen and pencil "rattling" around in the grooves. I think if there were some kind of lining in the grooves that could be fashioned, it would be a much nicer, quiet setting for the instruments. I ordered these for my grandson's graduation from Navy Boot Camp, and I took a couple of those cushy wraps you put on pens/pencils to soften the grip, cut them lengthwise and am using them to keep the pen and pencil from rattling around in their grooves. It gives me a tighter fit for packaging the gift; he can get rid of them when he starts using the pen and pencil. Regardless, they are beautiful!"
