"I think this is a very clever gift idea but the quality of this product is not good. I had trouble locking and unlocking the boxes (I bought two) and the metal ring fell off the front so my husband had to glue them. Also, the lock itself is not very sturdy/stable and the hinges don't seem very secure. I hope it holds up to a 5 and 6 year olds use. Time will tell."

"I purchased 4 of these for the little girls on my list. We celebrated last night, and they all LOVED them. They had so much fun using the key and putting their little treasures in their boxes. They put their dolls and toys aside, and played with these boxes all night long. Quite a success! There are two 4 year olds and two 9 year olds."

What a Waste of Money December 20, 2012
"I have purchased many items from Personal Creations in the past and been very happy with all of them, but this was a waste! The design on the box is very cute, but it is not functional at all. The lock is not a real, working lock and the box doesn't even close properly! The lid seems a bit warped so that it doesn't lay flush when you close it, leaving a small gap on one side. My daughter was so excited at the idea of locking up her "treasures" from her little brother, but this box is going in the trash and I'll have to find a different product somewhere else."
