"I have a very dear friend who cannot have children. At 43 she finally gave up and she and her husband started the adoption process. Almost immediately, a friend of her parents told her of a young woman she knows who is pregnant and wanting to give up her baby. It seemed too good to be true, and my friend has prayed about it for weeks. It now appears that it really is going to happen, though, and we gave her a shower yesterday. I am one of the few people who knew what she plans to name her new son. When she opened my gift, we both teared up, as did several of the other ladies.
