"I was very disappointed in this product and it was far from "sophisticated & elegant." Not at all what I expected . I ordered two of these mats-one for a gift & one for myself. They had an awful odor, had markings on them that looked like printing defects, and were a very thin material. In fact they were very unattractive. Overall, they were of poor quality and workmanship. I am returning them for a refund. :("

"I agree with anonymous. I called the company to inquire about the smudged markings. They were not noticeable on-line. When I received it, I thought that it was defective. I kept it - but just beware. I would have selected a different door mat."

"Would look great in front of my fireplace, if it didn't look like chocolate milk had been spilled on it! For such a cute mat, I wish it didn't look used... Very sad about my "new" purchase. Also, it is very thin! Would not use it on the floor!"

"Purchased as a gift for my parents. Loved it, but said it looked like someone had walked on it with dirty feet. Was dirty looking in some areas. Also, the letter "D" was smeared a bit. All + all I was disappointed in this product"
