    "Got this for an uncle, and the wording is actually etched into the ceramic, so it is not just painted on, it is permanently there. Wording is nicely even and centered. The only con was that with a 7 letter first name, "Uncle" and a space would not fit with the character limit, so I just did the first name. However, with the size of the face of the mug since it tapers smaller near the bottom, it would probably look odd with the name sticking off to the side if they increased it, so I can see why they kept it small. Would definitely buy again."

    "The mug is great and my Uncle was really touched by this gift. My only recommendation for future buyers of this product is that all of the mugs pictured said "Uncle" and then the person's name if you got it personalized. When I ordered the mug, it said it could include personalization of up to 11 letters, I believe. So I assumed (incorrectly) that the word Uncle - since I was ordering the Uncle Mug would come before the name and the personalization was just for the name that would come after the word uncle. So instead the mug I gave him didn't have Uncle in front of his name, but it was still personalized, just with his first name."
