"Wow. I bought this for my daughter and it just arrived today. It is beautiful. It is somewhat larger than I had pictured it (I'm just not a good judge of those things), so I'm glad I went with this size rather than the 5 x 7. It is just beautiful. Yes, the writing is light...as another reviewer pointed out, it is etched, which just makes it nicer. Please note that at least on the silver one, the metal border on the photo comes with a protective cover on it. I didn't realize that at first, and it looked a little odd. Once I realized I needed to peel that off, it looked great, and I'm glad that it had been protected."

Beautiful Frame! May 01, 2011
"I purchased this frame for my niece last year and I am back again to purchase one for my nephew. It is a beautiful picture frame with a prayer, childs name, and communion date ETCHED into the glass. This may be why the previous reviewer was disappointed. In the picture it appears that the writing will be white, but it is a laser etching. I knew what to expect when I ordered the product because I was given a hand made version for my wedding with my wedding invitation etched in it. Comparing my handmade, professional picture frame to this one, I must say I was NOT disappointed!"

"I picked this frame because of the beautiful prayer on the glass, but once I saw it in person you can't even see the writing on the glass. It is way too light even against a dark back ground. I was disappointed."
