Engraving Off Center / Wood is Damaged! February 19, 2013
"I've ordered these in the past for baptism/christening gifts for my great nieces/nephews and was very satisfied. I recently ordered 4 for new additions to the family and was greatly disappointed that the engraving was off center on 2 out of the 4 of them. One of the other ones look as if the wood is damaged. I am unable to return them since they are personalized. Product quality has definitely gone down from a few years ago."

"Wooden cross was OK, but the personalization was way off to the left. Called customer service and they were very helpful and promptly sent me a new one. Well...the replacement was way off center as well but this time to the right instead of down the middle of the cross. Too bad because the cross is very cute. Embarassed to give it as a gift."

"I ordered this cross for my grandson's baptism and lucky for me well in advance of the special day. When the cross arrived, I was extremely disappointed in the quality and workmanship. The wood was very light, and uneven in shade. The lettering going down for the baby's name was not centered. Customer service did replace (happily & on time)... The 2nd one I received was centered better, but still cheaply made."

"I just purchased two of these wooden crosses for my two newest grandkids as a memento of their Baptism day. I already had given this same cross to two older grandkids when they were each Baptized and they are still hanging in their rooms. It is a very simple cross but nicely made and the personalization makes it very special for a child. I'm sure you can get better quality at a higher price, but this serves its purpose very nicely. Obviously, I'd buy it again if the occasion arose."

"This is the fourth cross I've ordered over 8 years, this one was not of good quality. The wood has "ticks" in it. Not a very smooth finish. Some parts I had to color in with wood filler to make it look better. There was no time to return it, I was disappointed this time."
