"Having had experience with this quilt for 5 years because my 5 year old grand daughter was given this quilt at the time of her birth I strongly recommend this item as a gift for a baby or young child. The quilt stands up to many machine washings and dryings without its colors fading or the appliqué or needlework detaching or fraying. It is a good tool for beginning to teach a preschooler his or her alphabet AND the sound each letter represents because of the animal or object that accompanies most of the letters."

"The quilt is very thin and the blanket around the pictures is white, so your first impression is that this is a fairly cheap blanket. Just before disappointment could set in however, I noticed the details on the patterns and just how well the embroidery was done. In th end, the mom I gave it to was very happy and so was I. I would recommend this product to anyone."

"I bought this quilt for my grandson to use in the nursery I prepared for him at my house when he visits. I chose the primary colors. I decided to hang it on the wall above his crib. Wow! It instantly popped the whole room with color and brightness. I love that it has his name on it. I bought an alphabet rug for the room with similar colors and pattern and each compliments the other .
