The plate is topped with a smooth glaze, providing a lasting finish. Displays beautifully on our black wooden easel, sold separately.

"While I do think the quality of the plate is very good and it IS beautiful, I was really disappointed in the size. I could not find anywhere the size is mentioned, but I assumed it was dinner plate size. This is more salad-plate size. This was a 50th Anniversary gift for my parents, but their 25th Year plate is much larger. At the very least, I think the plate size should be listed to avoid confusion."
