The cover does not wear well December 09, 2012
"I should have taken more stock in the reviews that made comments about the cover. The Willow Tree emblem is pretty, but just the packaging alone put some marks on the cover. Some natural wear is o.k. & can give a product like this some character, but how it wears (poorly) is a bit ridiculous. I would rather the person receiving it be the one to give the cover character. Never had a Willow Tree that I felt like this about before."

"I was looking for a personal special gift for my nieces' college graduation.They both are teachers and I wanted a journal for them to be able to write about their experiences.I looked all over the internet and was thrilled to find this.You will not be disappointed. Someone else was negative about scratches,the ones I ordered had small blemishes but I feel that it gives the books a little character . No problems at all with ordering/shipping either."

"I just got this item a few days ago and am planning on giving it to my mom this mothers day. I am a big fan of Willow Tree products and I love to give these beautiful and meaningful items as presents. The journal exceeded my expectations. It has a very sturdy hardcover, a beautiful willow tree emblem on the front cover, it has a very big pocket in the back where you can keep pictures and such and the inside of the journal has lined blank pages. The engraving is pressed on in gold so its difficult to see in bright lighting but inside the house its perfect. The spelling was correct and everything was exactly how I had typed it in online, right down to the comma I added. I only wish that they carried the other willow tree journals as well instead of just this one. I am very thrilled and I know that my mom will just LOVE this item and treasure it forever. I also have to give a giant kudos to the packaging team--they did an amazing job. The journal was taped up in bubble wrap, very professionally and placed between lots of little styrofoam pieces. Because I am so happy with this item I have ordered 4 more items from this website and am planning on always coming back here for special occasion gifts."
