"This is a portion of the email I sent to customer service after I received this item. Please save yourself the time and do not buy it: To say that I am very disappointed in the quality of the jewelry box that we received is an understatement. I can't believe that you would even sell this product and describe it as "very grown-up accent." There is nothing "grown-up" about it. When I took the item out of the box the stickers that they used on it were lifting on the edges and her name on the top was obviously at a slant. One of the letters was overlapping a heart sticker on the top which made it bubble up funny as well. I then opened up the door on the right side only to find that at some point the necklace hanger must have broken off and was then put back on with a wad of scotch tape. This is disgusting, and you should be ashamed that this is the quality of product that you choose to represent your business. I would appreciate immediate action on this matter as the item was to be a Christmas gift for our four year old daughter."

Cute jewelry box for little girls November 14, 2011
"This was a cute jewelry box, but I was very disappointed that the decorations were stickers - I assumed they were painted on. When the item was delivered, some of the stickers weren't applied well, and had started to come off and some had scratches through them. I called the company who offered to send a replacement and told me if I still wasn't satisfied, to call and discuss. The second box came and, though the decorations were still stickers, they were applied properly and everything looked just a bit better. I decided to keep the jewelry box since it's for my granddaughter who's just 3 months old, and buy her a more "substantial" and grown-up jewelry box when she's a few years old."

"The princess and the stars and your child's name if you choose to personalize it are stickers, not painted on. It lowers the quality of the jewelry box quite a bit. The spinning hook to hang your necklaces on inside the door on the right is barely glued on. In order to hang anything on it, you must secure it yourself. The box itself seems to be pretty sturdy though, but the stickers will ware away soon, I am sure."

"Very disappointed when I opened the package and found that the name and picture are stickers and not painted. I would not have purchased. Wooden jewelry box seems sturdy and the princess is cute but I was looking for something that was not so cheap looking. Will return."

"Thought the personalization would be handpainted as well as the princess/ballerina. Names and characters are applied with stickers. Bubbles exist beneath the sticker giving a good, well-made jewelry box a cheap look."
