Poorly made - defective, perhaps? date: March 10, 2012
"I will post a second review after I get the replacement products that Personal Creations is sending to me. I ordered the basketball and baseball, and both are "messed up." The basketball is perfect except that a crescent-moon shaped area along the top right (approx. 1" wide and 10" long) doesn't have the orange coloring. It's as if the factory's orange dye-stamping tool just missed it. The baseball is bizarre - the photo shows a white ball, but the actual product came with varying shades of off-white, yellow-green, and camouflage green. Hopefully these were both rare defects that just both happened to affect my order, but I'll let you all know when the replacements arrive next week. Please note that, as some other reviewers have commented, the material is just a thin rubberized material that is not even 1/8" thick (it's between 1/16" and 1/8"). It has no cloth-like or "rug" aspect to it - it is a rubberized mat. It is like the kids' floormats that have roads/cities on them. One person mentioned that they planned to use it as a wall-hanging. It would do well for that purpose, or just as a decorative floorpiece. This is not anything thick, plush or durable."

"This was the worst product I have bought from Personal Creations. The material used is like a magnet for collecting dirt that clings to it. You literally have to pick the dirt balls off with your fingers. If I had known, I would have never wasted my money."
