"The case arrived, and we were initially quite pleased with it. It is very cute, with lots of fun pockets. It seems reasonably well made for the price paid...until it is actually packed. We packed it with a couple of small books, shorts, T-shirts, swim suit & jammies for a 6 year old. There was room to spare, but we couldn't get it to stay upright. The four little posts on the bottom are much too close together, and it constantly tips over forward. Also, the zipper for the main pocket only extends halfway down, so it needs to be mostly unpacked to access anything in the bottom half. It would be great if the zipper went all the way around, and the case could lie flat to pack/unpack. Mostly, though, it needs some re-engineering to keep it upright!"

"This is unstable and will not stand up as the front legs are too short. It tips over. The fabric on all of the corners are wearing thin and getting holes. Bought these for grandkids and they do not hold up, even with minimal use."

"The suitcase is very nice, although I do wish the zipper went 3 quarters of the way around so I could open it like a regular suitcase. It only opens on the top end, so we have to sort of slide the clothes in through the end, which makes it hard to keep them folded nicely. I didn't notice that issue when I ordered it, but other than that it is very nice."

Not a pilot case - it's a "backpack" date: December 29, 2011
"While it's really cute to look at, especially next to the matching duffle, it is completely unusable as a pilot case! It only opens at the top, like a backpack. Hard/impossible to pack clothing in as one would do in a "pilot case". With the handle up, empty or full, the case can't stand up. So as soon as you stop walking with it, the handle has to go back down or it will flop to the ground! So, so disappointed!!"

"Disappointed that the bag is top loading, as opposed to a full zippered flap top. Makes it difficult to load clothes neatly because you have to stuff it down the top. Not what I expected or wanted. A little small for a 5 year old weekender. Ok for my 3 and 1 yr old who is pulling it all over!"
