"I received this ornament from my mother 5 years ago, after my father had passed. I don't believe there was an option to have it engraved back then, so she purchased it and took it to her own engraver. It has my dads name and his full date of birth and date of death. I just purchased 3 of these ornaments, for close friends who recently lost loved ones. The ornament is much the same, but now the information is engraved on the back. The only disappointment is that there is not enough characters to put their full date of birth, and date of death. I was only able to put the years, not the month and day, so when you look at it, you only have the years. Other than that, I still love this ornament and mine is hanging now on the top of the tree by the angel. My friends also love it."
