Beautiful Wedding Canvas!!! date: April 24, 2012
"I'm a sucker for verses, & I especially loved this gorgeous, simple print with a lovely, and very meaningful verse for my son & new daughter-in-law. I loved it online & even more so after I received it (although I maybe wished I had gotten it framed rather than unframed), but it's a standard sized canvas if they wish to frame it, and it looks good either way I'm sure depending on where they put it. It was his 2nd marriage & her 3rd one, so (like my hubby & mine was), I really thought they needed something especially meaningful for a wedding present. Although they just went to a Justice of the Peace to marry, their paths had crossed a couple yrs. prior after not seeing each other for 20 yrs., after dating at age 15 in Middle School. Due to several circumstances back then, one being that he had to come back to a new HS in our district, leaving her at the older school & then just loosing touch. They both then went off to college, married, had children, etc. I truly think it was fate that brought them to a Parents' Meeting one night & they caught sight of each other. They each had 3 kids & started hanging around as families, until she up & left her husband, got a divorce & bought a house in close proximity. It wasn't too long that he left his wife of 12 yrs. & moved in with his aunt, telling me that he wasn't happy & hadn't been for quite a while. Although I was the last one to know anything, we both were thrilled when we found out that she was again in his life!!! We'd both loved her 20 yrs. before also, which I'm sure he knew! They are now the new "Brady Bunch" with kids ranging from age 16 down to age 5. However, his ex & one of her exes both live within a mile radius of them, so it makes it easier to pick up & drop off kids. They are both blessed that all the kids like the 'other' step-parent; they are extremely happy together; plus the exes & extended family remain cordial. They are also blessed that ALL the kids are not with them ALL the time, so they do get some breaks!!! They are 36 & 37 now and are very much in love with each other and both are GREAT parents to all the children!!! I'm very happy for all of them!!! ;)"
