Our wooden step stools create a fun way to teach them how to spell their names, learn colors and new shapes. Our step stool features rounded, easy-to-fit edges. Stool can fit one name up to 11 characters. Crafted of sturdy maple or ponderosa pine and non-toxic paint in primary or pastel colors, with smooth lacquer finish. Measures 15”L x 8”H x 9”D to 18”L x 8”H x 9”D (depending on name). No gift box is available for this item.

Only one name can be entered on this item. If two names are provided only the first one will be produced. There are no exceptions. For example if you enter Carry Ann it will be done as Carry.

Quality has gone down over the last couple of years date: February 27, 2012
"We bought this stool 3 years ago for my older daughter and loved it. HOWEVER - we bought it again for our second daughter last year and the stool is much smaller and not as sturdy - made from a lighter, cheaper wood. In fact, she can only sit on it. If she stands on it, it tips over easily because the legs do not balance out very well. She is only 2 years old - 30 lbs. She and my 4 year old can stand on the older version of the stool with no problem. I am so disappointed in this - even a year later. I should have returned right away and looked elsewhere. Disappointing that it's the same price - but much less quality."

"I bought 2 of the puzzle name stepstools for my twin grandbabies, I bought a similar gift for my niece who is now ten and still has her stepstool, she loves it. It is a gift that will be used for years and years. The kids love that the puzzle is their name, the stepstool is great for the step up to brush teeth and wash hands. I got both in the primary colors and it is nice and bright. One was the flower stool and the other was the sports stool. When I am blessed again with more grandchildren, I will be ordering more stepstools!"

"I like the idea of the step stool. It is very cute and will be functional too, for a toddler or preschooler who needs a few extra inches to reach something! The only thing I would have preferred is that each puzzle letter had it's own completely carved out space, rather than the carve out being an outline of the whole name. OVerall though, very cute."
