"First, I must say the service was quick. I ordered these as a last minute gift on Friday & received the package in the nick of time on Wednesday, even with an ordering glitch that required the company to contact me on Monday for the names.
I was a little disappointed that the actual product looked slightly different than the picture. I think it's simply the lighting in the photograph, where the black "Always Kiss..." lettering stands out & the names are subtle; however in reality the black lettering seems relatively small and faded, while the gold personalized lettering REALLY stands out...too much IMO. I would have much preferred the look as pictured.
Furthermore the material isn't exactly 800 thread count Egyptian cotton. I wasn't necessary expecting that, but I had hoped for a material more suitable to sleep on (I'm no princess and the pea, seriously it feels like canvas). However I'm not sure if better material is the solution since the large personalized names seem to be a stiff iron-on. Perhaps after a few washes, it will soften up, but right now it's relegated to decorative pillow status.
However to be fair, I must say my fiancee was very excited by the gift and exclaimed, "where did you get this?!" So overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase and I'd recommend the product for decorative pillows, just not for sleeping."
